Sepsis Information

Some Common Sepsis Misunderstandings

Here is some common sepsis misunderstandings

  1. Sepsis only affects the elderly or immunocompromised
  2. Sepsis is just a severe infection
  3. A bit of fever and fast breathing is nothing to worry about
  4. Sepsis is rare – we don’t need to focus on it
  5. Just give antibiotics and it’s sorted

With just 3 months to go until ‘United Against Sepsis’ – we still get sepsis wrong and it costs lives

Too late. Too vague. Too complex.

On September 9th, take a moment to pause and ask – How can we do better?
